Similar to gaspardi, but larger, with rich colour. Resembles zadela, but is still more delicate and rostrate, with larger lacunae. The name was introduced by Raybaudi, needs to get formally described. ».
I am myself resolved on to name these two Cypraea Cribrarula as cribaria f. oceanica. They are both too close and different to Cypraea cribaria f. Zadela. The description which is made of f. oceanica suits them well but that's what that says Felix Lorentz: « .... Similar to gaspardi, but larger, with rich colour. Resembles zadela, but is still more delicate and rostrate, with larger lacunae. The name was introduced by Raybaudi, needs to get formally described. ». The clear specimen comes from New Caledonia and the dark of a Philippin purchase. Although they do not come from the atoll of Kwajalein it is no reason that they are not in it. The cribraria f. Zadela of New Caledonia are not sufficiently studied to exclude this possibility and for the purchase of shell ''originate'' from Philippines ... Like many cribraria f. Zadela teeth are present up to the posterior end of the labrum. They are also more ''flat'' as f. Zadela and first columelar tooth is projected further forward.
